* Preserving and protecting our parks and recreational opportunities such as the Monterey Sports Center, the Recreational Trail and many of Monterey's open spaces. My opponent has suggested private Monterey Sports Center, (shocking and unthinkable.)
Brian stated: "I will not vote to sell the Monterey Sports Center; it is one of Monterey's crown jewels of Monterey. I will continue to support our efforts for a healthy and vibrant community."

Why I'm Running for District 4 in Monterey
I had an awesome time at the July 4th Firefighter's Pancake Breakfast in support of My Museum. It was great to meet the Fire Chief and our fine men and women who serve our community. I also met many of the members of the Monterey Police Department and our Monterey Fire Department members. A big thank you to all our public safety members for keeping all of us safe.
